Deposits
Due to high demand for appointments and too many no-shows, a deposit will be required for
all appointments. A 50% deposit of your booking will need to be processed to confirm your
booking.
This deposit will come out of your appointment on the day of your service.
Deposits are non-refundable if your appointment is cancelled.
How to contact us!
Due to the growing amount of enquiries across too many platforms we will be closing the
social media DM enquiries on Insta and Facebook.
All enquiries are to be sent via email or for the quickest and easiest method, please text or
call 0424948338.
If you prefer messaging that is never a problem for us, as a neurodiverse catering salon we
understand the anxiety making a phone call can cause so simply text us and we will answer
any questions you have.
Cancellation Policy
A confirmation text/email is sent to you 4 days prior to your scheduled appointment as a
friendly reminder.
If you wish to re-schedule, we are happy do so, please provide us 48 hours notice so that
your deposit will move over with your re-scheduled appointment.
Less than 48 hours notice for any changes to your appointment will result in your deposit
being forfeited.
Re-schedules/cancellations need to be confirmed by the Studio during working hours.
Parking
There is 2 hour street parking available on the same street as the salon.
For longer appointments, please let the team know so we can set a reminder to help you
avoid getting a ticket.
If you require disabled parking, please contact the studio and we can organise space right in
front of the salon for your convenience!
Parking is your own responsibility and any tickets are not on the studio.
Discovery Dates
When unsure of what you want to book with us, we welcome you to book a Discovery Date
with one of our stylists.
This will cover not only what you want to achieve in regards to your hair, but also let us know
about any requirements you may need to ensure your Studio experience is comfortable, safe
and tailored to you.
We offer many services to assist with sensory accommodations such as low heat, low touch
and no talk options that we can discuss further on the Discovery Date.
As part of our commitment to being accessible to everyone, you are welcome to come to us
in person at the Studio or book in a 15 minute consult via zoom.
Discovery Dates are booked in for $15, and if you book an appointment on the day that
money will go towards your deposit!
Support People/Carers
We encourage you to bring a support person with you to make our shared time more
comfortable and enjoyable. Even if you have a carer with you, you are welcome to bring a
separate support person if that will make you feel more comfortable.
However, we are a small studio so please limit any support to two people to ensure we
remain low stim for our other clients.
Minors
Any minors visiting the Studio must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
Please ensure they respect the Studio environment, other clients and our team.
There are some toys for their enjoyment, but as they are your responsibility we ask that you
ensure they do not jeopardise the safe space we offer to every guest.
All payments are final and we encourage these to be processed by the parent/guardian.
A welcoming and safe space
We cater to those of all ages with higher needs, we understand that there is a lot of stigma
and judgement that people with higher needs can experience in public spaces.
We pride ourselves on being welcoming to everyone in a space free from people who make
others feel negatively just for being themselves.
On your discovery date we can discuss everything we can do to ensure everyone is
welcome, comfortable and cared for at all times.
If you have any issues at all during your appointment, please get the attention of a team
member.
There is never a need to “suffer in silence” we are here to change the industry standard and
do everything in our power to make our services accessible to everyone.
Animal policy
Support animals are always welcome in the Studio. If they are a service animal, please
ensure they have adequate identification on them to protect you and them from unwanted
interactions.
Please do not touch/disturb a person’s animal without express consent from their owner,
especially if this is a service animal.
All animals are to be in the care of their owner and kept on lead in the Studio at all times,
there is a large outdoor area where they can be free to explore under supervision.
Please remember not everyone may be comfortable around all animals so as always, be
respectful and courteous so everyone can be cared for.
Sustainable Salon
Our commitment to being environmentally conscious means we have now become a
sustainable salon.
This gives us the ability to recycle the large majority of our salon products, including the hair
we cut!
As a part of this initiative and to support sustainable salons, a $3 green fee is added onto
every service.
